- Leather Uppers: Our Leather is sourced from a local tannery just outside of Cape Town. It is run by and employs the local community. We use a full-grain leather sustainably and ethically harvested as a byproduct from a meat tannery.
- Veldskoen Sole: All our soles are made from 100% recyclable rubber compound that has an extended durability. It also has shorter cycle times, lower energy consumption, and less waste during manufacturing in effect slashing our greenhouse gas emissions. Positive footprints - The words Love and Trust are written on the soles of each Ranger Boot. You will be leaving positive messages everywhere you walk.
- Insoles: To create the most comfortable shoe, and to live up to our history as a shoe that is designed to be on your feet all day, we spared no expense in finding the very best combination of materials and manufacturing. We use 100% Sheepskin for feeling like you are walking on clouds.
- Stitching: Our stitching is a semi waxed 100% polyester braided thread that is as strong as the shoe itself. We use double stitching on all high movement areas of the shoe for added strength.

FAMILY OWNED FACTORY
Our factory, Hopewell Footwear, is Located in the beautiful city of Durban on the East Coast of South Africa, the country's surfing capital. It is a 3rd generation, locally owned; the 4th generation is studying for a footwear degree in London and working in Italy to prepare him to take over the family business. Owner Mohammed says many of the employees have been with them for as long as he can remember

Love my wool lined slippers
I’ve been looking for a long time for a slip on shoe that I can wear outside. I have problematic feet with a high arch and extremely sensitive nerve points at the top above the arch that most slip on shoes cross and numb my feet. These shoes broke in quickly and are not causing the usual pain. I love the sturdy sole as I live rural on 5 acres and these stand up to the rugged terrain. So they are versatile enough to be used inside and outside.

Slippers
These slippers are as I expected from what I read about them. They are comfortable and warm. The sole is a little stiff, but they are new. They are comfortable that you will stay in them all day.I expect them to last many years as they are made well. I plan on buying more as gifts. The color (green) is great, and they look great too.

Love the looks fits perfect finally I found a shoe that fits perfect I have 3 pairs Veldskoen shoes the sandals and now slippers love them all I will never buy another brand
