I love my Vellies for walks and for their styling. They are very comfortable (follow the measuring advice from them), especially with the thicker socks that I wear. The soles appear to be superior to other similar shoes.
I love everything VELDSKOEN, however these sandals got me a little confused. My normal size is 9 when I tried those there was some sole space left in the back of the shoe. I decided to change to 8 and I still have the same issue. Maybe elastic could be added in the strap that goes around the back of the ankle. Great design overall. Also, it would be great to mid sizes like 8.5 or 9.5.
These are great, more comfortable than I anticipated. They can be a little tricky to get on and off, but they seem to be really well made.
My new go to everyday shoe. They’re comfortable even without socks and break in quickly. I had to size down nearly two full sizes though since my foot was swimming in the original US 11 size I ordered. At nearly $120 these are at the absolute limit of what I would spend on casual shoes. $90 - $95 is a better price point.

Having lived in South Africa years ago I was intrigued by Veldskoen’s Heritage from the first time I saw it. Got my first pair two years ago & love them. Could not wait to get the Vilakazi. I used to drive past that street in Soweto a few times a week. The yellow is awesome! Makes me think of Kaizer Chiefs FC. One note: I normally wear a 11.5 US, but both my Heritage boots are a size 10 US lest they feel too long like clown shoes.
I am elated with my new Veldshoen boots. The fit is perfect and they were comfortable out of the box. The style is classic.

Initial order much too tight due to misunderstanding of sizing recommendation.
Exchanged for my customary US size13 and all is well. Leather stretches some to enable a comfortable all day fit.
A good casual boot.
Shoe is comfortable and the break in period was very short. Wore the shoes for a few hours a day over four days and now I wear them all day without any discomfort. Will be purchasing another pair. The exchange for a smaller was easy and without hassle.
I followed the sizing guide and knew I needed to give them time to break in, but when these came I could barely get my feet in them. They stretched as I've worn them, but this has been a painful process that I don't know if I would repeat.
These shoes are not only comfortable, but they complete any outfit. I love my V’s

I like the quality, but after wearing them a few days realized they are just super wide. I have pretty normal sized feet and compared the boots to other major brands I have and even the soles are nearly 3/4 of an inch wider, making them quite clunky. Perhaps the other models are not made in this fashion and if so, I'm sure they are great. Wish I hadn't worn so I could return them.
Since I bought them they have become my default option for my workdays, effortlessly walking with me the 4 miles commute.
Very comfortable from the beginning and look stylish.
Sizes do indeed run big as advertised.
