Full-grain leather Veldskoen shoes start out stiff but quickly stretch and soften. When you first try them on, they need to fit very tightly over the bridge of your foot. Within a few minutes of wear, they will stretch to fit comfortably. Wear them with socks the first 2-5 times to allow them to completely soften and take on the shape of your foot. Once worn in, Veldskoen can confidently be worn without socks. Our breathable leather is a natural deodorizer. 
Men choose M size and Women choose W sizing.

I’m digging my new boots!! I have sensitive feet so the break in period for me is always a struggle with any shoe. I did need to use some moleskin on the top part of the back of my foot but after a few wearings I was all good! They are super comfy and I get tons of compliments. So happy I finally bought them. I’m going to order more shoelaces… I have the pink ones in now.

Love the TAYLA JANE BOOTS!

These are beautiful boots. It's obvious Veldkoen takes pride in their workmanship. The foot bed is very comfortable. The leather finish is gorgeous. They sent me a small jar of leather cream, which is easy to apply and makes it simple to keep the boots looking new and fresh. They sent a surprise pair of pink shoelaces, which I absolutely adore. The boots are true to size, so feel confident ordering your normal size. My boots fit well even with thicker socks. The leather around the ankle will need a little wearing in, so for the first couple of times you wear them, wear them with some socks that cover your ankle. I love these boots and highly recommend them. They are functional and very stylish. I have gotten many compliments while wearing them.
