We believe in building shoes better. That's why our shoes and boots are handcrafted with locally sourced premium materials, made with a compulsive eye for detail, a conscious mind, and an innovative approach to transparency with a desire never to stop improving and evolving.
We work tirelessly every day to further reduce our impact and support the communities that rely on us. Our Leather is sourced from a local tannery just outside of Cape Town. It is run by and employs the local community.
The factory takes immense pride, responsibility, and ownership in reducing their impact on their home and work environment. The tannery is in the process of gaining its leather worker's gold status.
All our Soles are made from 100% recyclable rubber compound that has an extended durability. It also has shorter cycle times, lower energy consumption, and less waste during manufacturing, in effect slashing our greenhouse gas emissions. We continue on our path to one day fully closing our production loop.
Our leather, soles and laces are all sourced locally. By sourcing locally we help support local businesses and communities and in turn reduce the carbon footprint by reducing transit and production times.
We care deeply about our Artisans and ensure that they earn fair wages and experience safe working conditions.
We believe people who are happy in their work treat themselves, the people, and the environment around them with more care and respect.
We use a reversible full-grain leather, lightly buffed on the inside that melts to your feet for supreme all-day comfort. It’s our secret sauce.
