Full-grain leather Veldskoen shoes start out stiff but quickly stretch and soften. When you first try them on, they need to fit very tightly over the bridge of your foot. Within a few minutes of wear, they will stretch to fit comfortably. Wear them with socks the first 2-5 times to allow them to completely soften and take on the shape of your foot. Once worn in, Veldskoen can confidently be worn without socks. Our breathable leather is a natural deodorizer. 
Men choose M size and Women choose W sizing.

At 3 482 metres above sea level, The Drakensberg, or "dragon mountains" is South Africa's highest mountain range, aptly named for the mammoth sized peaks and ridges. The dramatic 200 km stretch of mountains forms the border between KwaZulu Natal and Lesotho.

The Drakensberg Veldskoen is an ideal hiking boot, with ample ankle support and padding for comfort.

Comfortable Boot

Had a 50% off code, so I thought I would give these a try. Super comfortable, lightweight. So far they are holding up as I use them as work boots. Need some more time to see if they hold up, but for now they are awesome!

A little tight

It's a little tight at the base of the lace where the rivets are hoping it will relax over time otherwise it's a great ankle boot.
